MORE SECONDARY SCHOOLS ACROSS GUYANA AS GOV’T PUSHES FOR FULL ACCESS TO EDUCATION, REFORMING NGSA
More secondary schools will be expanded and new ones constructed across the country as the government pushes for universal secondary education by 2025. What this means is that by then, all those who need a secondary education should be able to access classes and all the learning resources they need. Education Minister Priya Manickchand on Monday said that while these efforts are being pursued, her ministry is exploring the reform of the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA), Guyana’s secondary school entrance examination.
