GDF RANKS INJURED IN 2020 PYROTECHNIC EXPLOSION SEEK URGENT AID FOR SURGERY
After collectively serving more than twenty years in the Guyana Defence Force, two of the soldiers that were severely burnt following an explosion of fireworks during preparations for Guyana’s 50 th republic anniversary in 2020 have told Nightly New how they feel abandoned by the GDF as they continue to struggle to cope with the trauma and effects of their injuries.
