INTEREST IN GUYANA HIGH AS CARIBBEAN INVESTMENT FORUM HOPES TO ATTRACT MUCH NEEDED FINANCE
Investments in Caribbean countries are needed to help spur development and create jobs, particularly in the wake of the devastating economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Next month, from November 8 to 11, regional and international investors and financiers will gather at the Caribbean’s inaugural investment forum in Port of Spain, Trinidad, to see what opportunities exist. This event is organised by the Caribbean Export Development Agency and according to the body’s Executive Director Deodat Maharaj, investment interest in Guyana is high.
