The guyana air force was able to acquire the blueprints of the german fighter aircraft the fw-190 . production has started – Guyana heavy industry had promised to supply 1 aircraft per month. due to lack of foreign exchange – the fighter aircraft will only operate with 40% of the normal ammunition supply. Parachutes are also in short supply – pilots will be encourage to fly low if hit and jump out at the last moment and use umbrella to act as emergency parachute.
