Cornell notes will be the death of me
I just use NotebookLM (Gemini Notebook) and hand it the textbook and do a set of 120 keycards a few times until I get every question right and then do another set.

Actually I do a similar method but instead of writing the key concepts, I write a couple questions abt the material, to see if I truly understand it deep enough

my school never taught us how to take notes or even told us to take notes in general. they didnt even teach us how to write an essay until like, year 8 or something… ive had to learn all of these skills myself.

Doesn’t help when your teacher makes you do readings everyday, then in the lecture talks about literally something entirely different, and the professor can’t even speak English well. This isn’t realistic compared to actually being in class

Nah, my brother and I have both used Cornell notes and don't like them. I kinda do sometimes similar but I put the topic in the margins of my paper to find sections easier for review.

My school did it and it was not that much of a difference
my school required us to take cornell notes in english, math, and science and each teacher changed how to do it and i hate cornell notes now
