GDF PATROL COME UNDER REPEATED FIRE AT BORDER
The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) is reporting two recent encounters along the country’s western border, where troops came under fire while escorting civilian vessels along the Cuyuni River, Region Seven (Cuyuni- Mazaruni) with one soldier being injured. However, despite the attacks, authorities said operations are ongoing to protect the country’s souvernity.
