EXXONMOBIL RAKES IN $132B IN GUYANA PROFITS
After about two decades of operating in Guyana, ExxonMobil, through its local affiliate Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Limited, recorded some GY $254.1 billion in revenues and after deducting costs, some GY$132 billion in earnings last year. This is according to Phillip Rietema, the company’s Vice President and Business Services Manager, who noted that this is the first time that the company has recorded annual profits here.
