Guyana’s Oil Gold Rush: China and America Are Fighting for Influence what Guyanese think!

Sharing is caring!

Guyana may have discovered oil but the real question is whether the oil discovered Guyana.
In this powerful documentary, we dive deep into the high-stakes geopolitical game unfolding in South America. China, through its state-owned giant CNOOC, has secured a massive 25% stake in the world’s most exciting new oil province — the Stabroek Block — with investments reaching $17.7 billion.
While ExxonMobil and Chevron lead operations, pumping over 900,000 barrels per day, China is rapidly expanding its influence through infrastructure megaprojects, roads, bridges, and ports. Guyana has transformed from one of the poorest countries in the region into one of the fastest-growing economies on Earth, with growth rates exceeding 40%.
This video explores:
• China’s strategic push for energy security and influence in America’s backyard
• America’s counter-strategy through oil majors and security partnerships
• The explosive Liza discovery that changed everything
• Venezuela’s dangerous claim on Essequibo
• The real voices of ordinary Guyanese citizens
• The risk of the Resource Curse — will Guyana become the next Dubai or the next Venezuela?
From the Demerara River Bridge to billion-dollar Natural Resource Fund, this is the definitive story of power, oil, and the future of the Caribbean.

  1. The government got rich over night, what happen to the citizens? We as citizens supposed to be rich over night as well but the guyana government didn't give us the money he promised! They even promised us $200 000 since 2025 if elected, we did not receive any money as yet and its a shame to know that Guyanese over the age of 18 years old have to get a bank account to get this money! It's also a shame to know that person who cannot read, write or living in the undeveloped places in guyana will not receive any of this "cash grant" because or no access to banks ! So tell me where and who the money going too for the persons that will not get this cash grant Irfan ally?????

  2. This is BS because the Americans have enacted the Monroe Doctrine and pushed out all foreign entities trying to have a footing in the Americas they did it in Venezuela and they will do it in Guyana so the Chinese are actually not there and thus making this podcast false

  3. No way no china because when Venezuela was trying to invade Guyana American help us thousands of Chinese living here doing big timber gold bauixte business in hardware china dint come to help us were dont want cumminist here

  4. With all this oil money..the people still sucking salt..china take over our land..they giving us..500.us dollars every year..and the light bills is high as hell..our taxes.is 14%. They should bring it down to 7%..then we all can see improvements.
