GUYANA WILL BE THE COLOSSUS OF THE CARIBBEAN, PRESIDENT SAYS, IN COURTING INVESTMENTS
President Irfaan Ali on Thursday pitched Guyana as the next investment colossus of the Caribbean as he tried to stir enthusiasm for inbvestments in all sector in Guyana. The President delivered the keynote address to the Forecast on Latin America and the Caribbean Conference, hosted by the Association of American Chambers of Commerce and Latin America and the Caribbean (AACCLA).

Ali also mentioned "no lazy people under him", yet four weeks ago, every village he visited during the riots complained to him that Police stood by and took no action when Indians were beaten.
