  1. I am happy no life was lost. Imagine you worked so hard to build your business , don't let it be ruin by 🔥 . I hope other businesses after seeing this big 🔥 would Enforce smoking rules, teach workers how to report a hazard. Install fire extinguishers and train workers how to use it. Manage flammable items. Smoke is dangerous, I was exposed twice to smoke from burning building s it's horrible . It's nothing to joke about .

  2. It's better if de whole city burn down and they rebuild it. Georgetown is trash. A garbage city that is slowly dying. Haphazard development, no proper drainage system , sewer system has collapse, overran with illegal vending and poverty. Georgetown is a political football. I am pretty sure that most buildings on Regent street can't pass an electrical inspection. It's sad to see that the garden city of the Caribeen is no more 😢

  3. Two years ago I visited Guyana and Georgetown.
When I saw all those buildings and crowded shopping centers, Fire Safety was the first thing that came to mind.
Well I am not surprised. Deja vu.

  5. Good afternoon, Phillip, you did a very good job at showcasing the fire and thank goodness that there wasn't any injuries. That was a massive one. 🙏👍🏽💯🇬🇾

  6. good footage! The Guyana fire service can barely contain small fires so putting out larger fires like this is impossible to salvage anything. The fire servicemen and women should be trained in countries like the US and there should be a fire helicopter to help contain the fire.
