Thank you 🙏 for put together and get in history to share to the new generation. This is something very considerable to touch on, especially history and the foundation of years before to know of so many things.
It’s very very interested to look at and thank you guys for your time to do this to create such a wonderful legacy to give to the world about Guyana.. 🥰🙏
Yes that’s so true what that guy said about cutting cane !!
Growing up in Guyana it was always known cutting cane was consider a low type of job ..
But I would never consider it as a low job that’s where our ancestors started their struggles to make ends meet so this new generation could have a better life ..
So cane cutting was the most wealthy job one of which it take hard efforts and sacrifice that gives us golden sugar to enjoy ..
Thanks 🙏 to all those cane cutters.. blessings to them ❤️
This is where my family is from.
She seems to be very knowledgeable on the history of Guyana.

Hello, thank you for posting this video. I really wanted to visit this country and watched the video a few days ago (Skint Northerners) on the dilapidated and neglected infrastructure of this so called Oil rich country. What is being done as far as cleaning up the garbage and the city? I look at the sign the young lady is pointing to and its historical significant to this country, with so much money flowing into this country are you able to clean that up or at lease put some fresh paint on it? It is rather striking that the people of this country are settling for this type of behavior. One thing to note here in watching lots of these videos recently, which I find myself doing lately due to the enormous publicity. Most of these videos are are either posted by people in their 40s or later. And some are posted by a few younger folks but it seems like they are not either educated or lack there of.. Where are the young educated people of this country that can or are able to speak up on the lawless behavior and uncleanliness situation in this country? Don't you want to live in a country that is clean, organize and most of all hold people accountable? I look forward to hearing your comments. These are a few of my observations, they are many more. I thank you for posting, and I hope you would highlight the areas that urgently needs work. Are they laws that is preventing people from speaking up about what is happening here?
Pepsi/coke is Diabetes waiting to happen & neatly packaged in bottles like tobacco. Much preferred the old signage w/ No agenda & rich in our local history 👍🏾👌🏾👍🏾😊 #Guiana #Guyana
Alex you remind me back in time ❤
Thank you for sharing beautiful guyana ❤
The church was nicer in the 70 and 80s
The Pepsi family still live in Berbice
Alex I just like and subscribed to your channel. I am really loving your tours and your guides who have done a excellent job in explaining 👏 👍 the locations important historical sites. I am a sentimental soul so I watched with tears welled up in my eyes. I am in many places in the world but me heart and soul is in Guyana. THE PPPC government have transformed Guyana immensely. Those toilets are well maintained .They thrive in always making Guyana a better place for everyone, including tourists . GOD BLESS GUYANA a, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR TEAM..ENJOY EVERY MOMENTS 🙏 ❤️ 🙌 💖 😊 ♥️ 🙏 ❤️ 🙌 💖
Learn so much from this tour. My Mom was a Berbician.

You guys weren't too far from a FreeMason's building..
The height of ignorance😢 am not surprised the tour guide has not taken the time to familiarise herself with the basics of Guyana history

My young friend this vlog has made me aware of some historical facts of New Amsterdam that I had absolutely no idea of. Alex , this trait that you have of listening first and then posing your questions at the appropriate time is commendable. Oh I think I'll start using the phrase "Back in deh bus". Thank you.
I used to run everyday from that trench bridge all the way to the airstrip and back, good memories. 31 yrs later I’m still running except its next to the Rideau Canal. Cool vid thanks.
Beautiful berbice
