We went back to Guyana and I am not okay — in the best way. 🇬🇾🤍

This week I took my daughter back to my home country and brought you along for all of it. Fresh coconut water straight from the source. Metemgee the way mom makes it. The market. The dominoes table getting loud. And a snow cone that healed something in me I didn’t know needed healing.
This is where I’m from. And now she knows it the way I know it.
