Opinion: When housing schemes, new and/or expanding industries, infrastructure etc. are being established or modernised there needs to be sober visioning rather than political expedience or political business cycle exploiting. It's about services for people/human beings. Thus, utilities planning for energy, water, possibly gas, waste disposal etc.; building codes upgrading/modernising must be part of a holistic approach to ensure longterm safety, security and social satisfaction as socio economic development cum infrastructural development are pursued and new technologies are engaged including for emergency first responders.
