IMF OUTLOOK ON GUYANA SHOWS RENEWED OPTIMISM IN ECONOMY – FINANCE MINISTER
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised Guyana’s projected economic growth for 2021 to 16.4 percent – a jump from the 8.1 percent growth it previously projected. This comes as no surprise to Guyana’s Finance Minister Ashni Singh, who on the sidelines of an event on Wednesday, stated that it highlights a clear renewed optimism in the local economy.
