The problem with countries like Guyana is that the gap between the rich and the poor is great or wide. And gap/disparity is only getting greater because the government of Guyana caters to the rich and the wealthy. The government of Guyana show favor and cater to the wealthy business communities and leave the poor masses to find for themselves. Not even safe drinking water that the United Nations said is required is provided to the poor Guyanese people from water pipes in Guyana. We have to buy bottled water to drink or to brush our teeth or to wash our faces. But as you see, the government of Guyana is busy taking care of big businesses and wealthy businesses men.
If a country or government cannot provide safe drinking water coming from it’s pipe for it’s citizens to drink, then it is failing to be a good country and government.
Guyana still does not provide quality drinking water coming from it’s pipe for the Guyanese citizens. The water coming from the pipe in Guyana is not safe to drink. It is unfit for human consumption. Guyanese people still have to buy bottled water to drink or to brush their teeth or to wash their faces.
