  1. Man, good video, but Guyana is not the only speaking country in South America. Remember Falkland Islands? They are considered by the UK as British Overseas territory and English is also spoken there.

  2. Well, the economy is the most important thing, so we don't give a damn about environmental protection, trees and animals. The main thing is that we can produce and throw away as much garbage as everyone else, turn trees into garden furniture and degrade animals into food. And soon the 95% jungle will have become 5%, just like in Laos.

  3. This is GEOGRAPHY OF QURAN..Guyana president namecid MUHAMMAD IRFAN ALI!! and GUYANA went from being poorest nation in South to the RICHEST in 4 years… First Oil was recovery from the Ocewn floor was in 2020..EDUCATE!!

  4. Wanna get Guyana to:

    1. make a reason for expats to move move back there.

    2. to only import and export in Guyana dollars

    3. to free themselves form the evil USA

    4. clean out all corrupt police & politicians who take bribes.

    5. become the business/financial hum of South America

    6. become the import/export hub of South America

    7. become the destination for international students to come study sciences, medicine, engineering, computer science. (courses paid for in Guyana dollar)

    8. become the international destination for medical tourists and dental care (treatment paid for in Guyana dollar)

    9. become a health spa rereat for internationls (paid for in Guyana dollar)

    10. eradicate all scummy drug dealers, drug takers, drug plantations., gangs, thieves, muggers, racists.

    11. make crude oil resources managed by a comittee free from corruption, which itself is monitored.

    12. make crude oil enmployment and profits be for guyana citizens and guyana expats who return – not foreign companies and peoples.

    13. make use of everybody such that no one is homeless.

    14. make huge effort in media and schools to make the use of evil drugs such as alcohol into a thing seen as disgusting, wastful, scummy, failure attitude, miserable, and a sickening path to death.

  5. I praise economic growth for the people of Guyana, but I wish it wasn't because of oil. It would be nice to think such rapid growth could be achieved with something other than fossil fuels, as the world tries to decarbonize.

  6. well as a Guyanese I did not know we has the higest personal income in south america good to know, but of course they will show we eating from rubbish dumps with africian pictures as part of Guyana

  7. As a Surinamese 🇸🇷 I'm closely watching how our neighbor Guyana is rising with its fastest-growing economy in 2024 due to oil. Meanwhile, our prices in the supermarket are increasing day by day. We used to be one of the wealthiest countries, with things not as expensive as they are now. Like Guyana, we have a lot of natural resources. I wish them continued success and hope that we also get the opportunity to thrive 🇬🇾 ❤ 🇸🇷

  8. A few months ago i came to know that 40% of Guyanese 🇬🇾 population (including President Ali) and 30% of Suriname's 🇸🇷 population is of Indian 🇮🇳 origin.

  9. As a Guyanese I living in Guyana…Guyana is still very poor. The government refuses to pay the public servants a prover and livable wage. And don't come for me in the comments….I am not a politician….I am just a wise 25 year old civil servant who refuses to be brainwashed by the politicians of this country.

  10. @The Geography Bible, just a correction. Our Head of State is not our Prime Minister but our President, Dr. Irfan Ali. Guyana operates on a Unilateral parliament system. As such, the Prime Minister doesnt hold as much standing in govern. The President overlooks the country and the Prime Minister is second to the President. It is striking that you missed this in research my friend. Do better. Love from Guyana 🇬🇾 abd visit when you can ❤🇬🇾🙌

  11. It's great that Guyana has such enormous oil reserves they can tap into to grow their economy. It makes it far less likely that they would look to timber as a revenue source, thus preserving the forests and their ecosystems. This is so cool, because the more oil based fuels are used, the more carbon get added to the atmosphere. Plants need carbon like animals and humans need oxygen go survive. The more carbon in the atmosphere, the heslthier the earths vegetation becomes. This in return adds more oxygen to the atmosphere through photosynthesis. It's a win, win, win, situation.
