Government Expands Digital Learning with Launch of Guyana Digital School

Sharing is caring!

The Ministry of Education has taken a major step toward integrating technology into the classroom with the launch of the Guyana Digital School initiative. Minister of Education Priya Manickchand introduced the program during a visit to Region Six, promoting the initiative at JC Chandisingh Secondary School.

The Guyana Digital School is designed to enhance student learning by providing full-time digital lessons, ensuring access to quality education regardless of teacher availability. This initiative is particularly beneficial for students preparing for CSEC, as it guarantees access to subject material even in cases where a teacher is unavailable in the classroom.

By embracing digital education, the government aims to bridge learning gaps, expand opportunities, and modernize the education sector, ensuring that every student has access to the resources needed for academic success.
