  3. In the 1970s there was no way, a father would let his daughter go out with a boy by themselves. The only time the boy would be allowed to come over is if the boy and his family asked for the girl's hand in marriage. Even then, the boy can't come around too often and when he did, the siblings of the girl surrounded them where they couldn't even hold hands. This video doesn't depict the actual reality of a young girl in the 70s. That's disappointing.
