GUYANA COULD LOSE BIG INVESTMENTS WITHOUT STRONG ANTI CORRUPTION MEASURES

Chairman of the Private Sector Commission (PSC) Paul Cheong believes that large sums being spent to revitalise and expand the local economy could be lost unless stronger anti-corruption efforts are pursued. As such, the private sector leader believes that the government’s ongoing efforts at strengthening local anti-corruption systems are crucial. Cheong made these statements while addressing the opening session of Guyana’s anti-corruption framework training held at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre at Liliendaal, Georgetown on Tuesday.
