The Dr. Balwant Singh’s Hospital in Georgetown on Saturday opened Guyana’s first fully-automated histopathology laboratory, replete with an advanced 128-slice computed tomography (CT) scan machine. According to the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Madhu Singh, about US$3 million to $3.5 million were invested in the equipment and facilities. With the sizable investment, faster, better diagnoses are promised for the hundreds of patients seeking care at the hospital everyday.

Very few Guyanese can go there, are you the president of some Guyanese. Or are you a silent partner in that business . Please look after the public hospitals where most Guyanese have to go .
