Two companies are looking to set up modern dairy farms in Guyana from January 2021. Chief Executive Officer of the Guyana Office for Investment (GO-Invest), Peter Ramsaroop recently told the News Room that one of the companies is from Guyana while the other is US-based. The businessman spoke of several other investors who are looking to build solar and wind farms to contribute to Guyana’s renewable energy needs. 1. I like this new head of Go Invest, he has a clear vision of what is required to get Guyana moving in the right direction. Oil and gas must be used as the means to an end, emphasis must placed on agriculture and food production with value added products. All of Guyana's industries must be modernized to be competitive(e.g. sugar). He has a positive attitude and is a perfect fit for the challenges ahead. Good luck to you sir.
