It's all wishful thinking. The sharing agreement is 75% for the oil company, and only 25 for the government of Guyana. They have already messed it up.
And now Venezuela is claiming approximately 2/3 of Guyana.

They will achieve this by stealing from Venezuela. Also Guyana's people will still be extremely poor. Just a handful of people at the top of their society will become wealthy.
Why is it that in all these oil “wealthy” South American countries the people live like 3rd world peasants?
