Its important to note that Guyana is NOT Trinidad.If Jamaicans want to benefit they have to be able to bring something of value to the table.Gone are the days of free lunches that many other CARICOM countires enjoyed from Trinidad for free under incompentent,racial and corrupt leadership in Trinidad .

Jamaicans will not benefit from this. Only a few business elite generally who don’t physically resemble the vast majority of the Jamaican people. What could be beneficial to Jamaicans is if we are to get a deal to pay Guyana below world price for their oil. This Caricom integration means nothing if the people’s of other member state cannot benefit from the success or the luck of other members. However I do not blame Guyana for keeping for itself its oil wealth because when they were desperately poor non of the richer Caricom Member States provided any meaningful assistance. In fact immigrants from Guyana were generally mistreated in Barbados and Trinidad
Guyana 's economy will be massive due to oil. Jamaica better pay attention! Thanks for highlighting my homeland.
