Well, I certainly hope that they renovate many of the buildings in the capital now that they have got the funds to do so…the infrastructure needs looking into, roads, bridges and the like…it can be done if the Govt. set their minds to it, from what i´ve seen Jamaica´s infrastructure is more advanced even though they don´t have the resources like Guyana but having said that Guyana is moving in the right direction.

I WAS BORN IN GUYANA ,, THE BAD TREATMENT START AT THE AIRPORT, THEY ARE SO SLOW CALLED US OUTSIDERS ,,THEY WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR BAGS AND WHO IS IT FOR,,, WHEN YOU SPEAK THE LOOK AT YOU AND THE PRICE GO UP AT THE BANK YOU CAN BE THEIR FOR HALF A DAY SO SLOW,, EVERY TIME YOU GO THE BANK THEY COPY YOUR PASSPORT ,,,, THIS IS WHY PEOPLE DON`T WANT TO GO BACK HOME,, THE CITY,,, COUNCIL NEED TO CLEAN UP THE PLACE , WHAT ARE THEY DOING WITH THE MONEY WE PAY IN TAX,,, IT IS MY HOME LAND SO I LOVE IT GOOD OR BAD,, ,, HAVE A GREAT DAY ,, 18/ 9,,,
The City Council of Georgetown is lazy/insolent/dumb. They collect taxes from the people and fail to provide the services for the citizens. They should be abolished big time. No need for them. They are the ones who make the city look like garbage.😢😢😢

The problem is how strnagers are treated . People who dont look like the same race . This is sad and should not be but the reality is this . Plus for example myself I was born there but my parents decided the political and racial climate they had to leave . I went back and because I do not talk with the same accent I was treated like a foreigner as well , in stores bad service but when someone walks in and speaks the same accents they are smiling and joking Now what I do think is that you offering tour services because tourists travelling with a guyanese would make it a better experience for them . I have never had to travel to any other country and need a tour guide because I was scared of harsh treatment than Guyana . BUt perhpas in time if your working as a tour guide you can open the minds of many there to understand that because people come from other countries that doesnt mean you have to actg a certain way differetnt than you would with other guyanese. Showing tourism can benefit Guyana . Are you Guyanes or another carribean background ? LOL Perhpas then next time I would pay you to follow us around with out getting names screamed at us

There are so many things that I find wrong with Guyanese people.
